This means you will eat all allotted food in each phase within a 6-8 hour period and fast for 16 hours. NO SNACKING within the 16 hours. This allows for your body to deplete the glucose you converted from food for energy within a couple of hours after eating. Then your insulin levels will drop and you will tap into your ketone bodies from your fat cells for energy instead of converted glucose from food.
